CRP is a full-service publishing and intellectual property clearinghouse specializing in recovery and addiction topics. Our publications and materials are geared toward addiction professionals including therapists, counselors, physicians, and students; treatment facilities and hospitals; and recovering individuals and families.
Our Mission
Central Recovery Press is committed to offering exceptional published material for addiction treatment and recovery. We shall accomplish this by publishing original and quality material in print, audio/visual, and new media, including web-based formats. Our mission is to positively impact the behavioral healthcare field by infusing a broad variety of unique material for professionals, recovering individuals, and their families.
Central Recovery Press, through the written word, will seek to shift the addiction treatment and recovery paradigm from the currently accepted “primary substance-based” to the proven “disease model.” The self-help material produced by Central Recovery Press and its authors will focus on a holistic approach to addiction and the recovery process.
Central Recovery Press is committed to becoming a successful publisher, compiling a library of titles that will enhance the brand name and reputation in the self-help industry. We are committed to becoming the trendsetter and leader in the self-help publishing industry.
Central Recovery Press also will be a platform to assist independent authors whose products represent the same vision in the marketplace and who can both encourage and become role models to other authors.
Central Recovery Press will endeavor, by its own success, to build a brand name and model for the Central Recovery Treatment companies including Central Recovery Los Angeles, Central Recovery Las Vegas, Centerpoint Intervention, and Las Vegas Recovery Center.
Our Vision
Our vision is to become an established leader in the field of behavioral healthcare publishing. We wish to offer and publish unique quality editorial materials on the topic of recovery from addiction not previously addressed or that has been addressed from a limited viewpoint. Central Recovery Press will focus more attention toward the “one disease, many manifestations” concept of the disease of addiction.
We endeavor to bring a greater awareness to the general public and addiction treatment arena about the many benefits and viability of recovery in the fellowship of Narcotics Anonymous. It also is our vision to offer a broader view of recovery to addiction treatment professionals and hopefully break the stigma of addiction.
